VAN NUYS AIRPORT COMPLETES $35.5-MILLION, 15-MONTH TAXIWAY A REHABILITATION PROJECT
Van Nuys, CA Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) today announced the successful completion of a $35.5-million, 15-month project to rehabilitate Taxiway A at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). The work expands the taxiway’s pavement life by 20 years, enhances safety and meets new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) design standards.

(Van Nuys, CA) Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) announces the successful completion of a $29.7 million, 14-month project to reconstruct Taxiway B at Van Nuys Airport (VNY). Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR). The Task Force’s objective is to hear community and

LAWA IN MIDST OF ACTIONS TO IMPROVE LAX-IT OPERATIONS
(Los Angeles, CA) LAX-it has now been open for more than two full days. During this time, the lot has experienced periods of efficient operations as well as challenges during peak operations. A series of adjustments are being implemented to improve our shuttle operations and driver/customer connections. Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) continues to work day and night with our partners to create a better experience at LAX-it.

Hollywood Burbank Airport and Van Nuys Airport Host Inaugural Joint Noise Task Force Meeting
BURBANK, Calif., August 29, 2019 – The Southern San Fernando Valley Airplane Noise Task Force (Task Force) – a group formed to address community concerns regarding aircraft noise resulting from aircraft departing from Van Nuys Airport (VNY) and Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) – held its first of up to six meetings yesterday evening. The inaugural meeting laid out the ground rules to ensure a collegial and respectful environment, explained the process for public comments, and voted to elect the Task Force officers and adopt the bylaws.
