LOS ANGELES WORLD AIRPORTS TO CONDUCT MASTER PLAN STUDIES FOR ONTARIO AND PALMDALE AIRPORTS
(Los Angeles, California – December 19, 2000) The Los Angeles Board of Airport Commissioners authorized today the preparation of a Request for Proposals for developing airport master plans for Ontario International and Palmdale Regional Airports. The studies are expected to better define land-use and facilities needed to accommodate future Southern California regional air service demands in the next 20 to 30 years.

BOARD OF AIRPORT COMMISSIONERS HOLDS EVENING MEETING IN VAN NUYS
(Van Nuys, CA November 9, 2000) - The Board of Airport Commissioners for Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) will hold a regularly scheduled board meeting in Van Nuys at 7 p.m., Tuesday, November 14, at the Airtel Plaza Hotel. A presentation on the Van Nuys FlyAway Bus Terminal Improvement Project will be among the agenda items. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in the Concorde Room at the south end of the hotel, 7277 Valjean Avenue at Sherman Way. VAN NUYS AIRPORT’S CITIZENS ADVISORY COUNCIL ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT

 

(Van Nuys, CA)- Members of the Citizens Advisory Council (CAC) for Van Nuys Airport recently elected Coby King as their new president for a one-year term, replacing Sandor Winger. Third District Councilmember Laura Chick appointed King to the CAC in August 1998.
