With a shortage projected for aviation career professionals, now is a crucial time to introduce our future aviation professionals to careers and opportunities that are available in the industry. On April 27th, approximately 1,500 high school students from all over Los Angeles explored the exciting pathways in aviation at the 12th Annual “The Sky’s the Limit: Aviation Career Day” event at Van Nuys Airport.
Students participated in engaging and interactive exhibits and explored static aircraft displays including [DISPLAYS]. Two interactive speaking panels featuring industry professionals and executives gave students insight and an insider’s perspective on how to get started in aviation. Participants were even treated to behind-the-scenes airport tours to learn more about the storied history behind Van Nuys Airport and experience first-hand the daily airport operations at one of the world’s busiest general aviation airports.
